This is my final double page spread, overall i am happy with my layout and fun design. I think i have established what I wanted to achieve with my photo choice and interesting content. This piece of work has proven good techniques used in photoshop, this is shown by the colour change that has been done from normal to black and white. I think my striking main image is the centre focus of my page, i believe no matter how good the content of a interview may be, if the image isn't interesting the page will be ignored. This is another reason why i put a different zoomed in photo on the bottom, so the readers interest will be focused on them straight away. The band name is also eye catching because it is a way of advertising the bands name and identity. If i could change or improve anything it would be more content on the top half of my double page spread, i feel looking back the tour dates section needed more information. But i am happy with my final piece and all the font alterations were definitely worth it! My target audience would find this page exciting and readable, they would be interested in the interview as they are not afraid to welcome new music into there life. Another reason why they would find this page appealing is because of the personal imprint the band has on the page, they would establish the link with the front cover, contents and double page spread and after seeing the band repeatedly they should feel inclined to find out more about them. I chose the red black and white theme because, it a powerful colour scheme and i think it represents my magazine genre perfectly. I chose the clear tahoma font because it was a simple easy to read style that could be a small size and still be readable.
