I have emulated a certain magazine style, to represent the music genre I am covering. The contrast of light colours like yellows, whites and reds on the black; connote punk and rock music. I have studied magazines like KERRANG which continually use these colours and styles to make my magazine fit into the right music genre. Also the text that looks like stencils also is used on my magazine and the comparison example.
